breakfast buffet helpful staff
The breakfast buffet included a chef making omelets. i also took advantage of the thermal suite and hot tub. The spa staff was helpful.

excellent stay
large room excellent bed late breakfast
the rooms were very well cared for and large. beds were excellent. i really appreciated the late breakfast and check out after the first night in ireland. it helped to overcome sleep deprivation.
the room was not well kept. it had numerous cobwebs on the walls, light bulbs not working, a faulty electric blind, and marks on walls. i was very disappointed with the room quality.

breakfast was fabulous! a buffet breakfast included a chef frying eggs, and pancakes. gammon was available, and you could order items from the menu as well.

the location is beautiful. the surrounding nature provides a fantastic setting for the castle. the snow that fell overnight enhanced the view.

the staff throughout the hotel were very friendly, and performed their roles well. gerard, michael, and shay were helpful, and always ensured we knew where they were if needed! bellman shea was awesome

A magical getaway
grand castle spacious rooms friendly staff helpful heater
The castle had a grand, romantic ambiance. The rooms felt spacious, and I found the staff very friendly. The large bathrooms included a helpful towel heater. I enjoyed dinner at the bar along with the complimentary breakfast, good!!! The downstairs bar presented a fascinating photo collection and offered glimpses into history.
I noticed that some of the corridors felt a little long when walking to and from certain areas of the original castle. I did not mind so much, but some guests might find it tiresome.

The hotel provides complimentary bicycles for exploring the picturesque grounds. This is a nice touch. The pool area includes ample loungers for relaxation. It is a pleasant space for unwinding. Parking on the premises is convenient and easily accessible.

Check-in was smooth, very efficient and cute. The staff showed a can-do attitude and helpfulness, greatly enhancing the stay. Little personal touches were evident.

The breakfast offered an amazing selection. I looked forward to it each morning. The bar dinner included tasty options. I considered it good. They cater to food allergies with no issues. This is very important.

The room featured beautiful decor and overlooked the courtyard. The bathroom included double sinks. I consider it convenient. Robes and slippers added a lovely touch of luxury. I thought it sweet.

friendly staff modern room sunken mattress late cleaning
the staff was very friendly. i found the beautiful room to be very modern. it was a little bit of a walk to our room from the front desk.
the mattress was sunken in. they did not clean our room the second night until after 5pm. we notified them about it three times.
